Those led's seem to have good penetrating power, never seen a grow with such big plants under led's.

Appreciate the feedback and compliment @Swifty. I know nothing different than LED's, so Txs again. Penetration is key I agree. I picked up a ppfd light meter to see how deep 500+ will go. I've had a lot of success with saving $ by buying used "good" lights. Both being used here are used. Optic Slim 480 & Spider Farmer SE5000. Come to think of it, same used status for the older HLG & SF4000, and those 2 gotta be 5+ yrs old by now.

BW lady far R turns 10w Wednesday and is further along.

Almost 10 weeker is throwing

She’s not gonna see the light of day. She’s asleep for the night and will stay asleep to be harvested on her 10th week birthday Wednesday morning.
The remaining two tall ladies have a little more time

Boy did I get lucky with the similar yet different characteristics. Colorful leaves have sweet, smelling buds of #2 which reaches 10w Friday.
She’s still needs time.
Then we have the sweet

I know we’re not supposed to have favorites, at least that’s what I tell my sons, but the final one to flower remains my favorite. I want unique smelling and tasting terpenes, and this one is leading the way. She’s only 8 weeks with many more to go.

time for the 2nd BW. She finishes 10 weeks tomorrow.
5+ feet tall, great colors and structure(needed no support). Aromas are sweet, yet sour/bitter. Stickier than it looks.


Colorful leaves are natural vs cold triggered, as nights were never below mid-60’s.

#2, front L, is 10w 4days. Indica bushy, 4 ft tall, beautiful colors with Sativa fluffy dense buds, tangy sweet.


Still needs time.
Next is #3, 10w 2 days. Sativa structure, 5 ft tall, fluffy dense, with a similar tangy sweet squeeze n smell. She needs a little more time, but close.

#4 is similar Sativa structure and buds, but more floral aroma. 10w 2 days flowering. She’s close also.

Last is #6, the youngest and most unique. 9w 3 days.

She still has the most unique aroma, which I’ll describe as sweet onions. She has weeks to go, and I’m going to enjoy her journey. I’ve chosen two of her clones to make seeds.

Hello Black Widow fans.
#3 of 6 has met the yesterday



Nice pheno type here. Solid, tall and strong with fruity/berry sweet n sour smell to start.
That leaves 3:

Next up will be Ms Colorful Bushymama.
79 days flowering:




She’ll reach 12 weeks Friday and will be harvested then or before.
Tall lady is 77 days today and will need another week.
Favorite and last, is 71 days and getting fatter and fatter.

Started spraying a clone of her with C.S. earlier this week to paint another gorgeous clone of her with pollen on the lower branches, probably 30’ish days from now.

Tonight she’ll go to sleep for 36 hrs, in theory to stress and push terpenes. I haven’t watered in a week for same theory.

Will her Friday when she finishes her 12th week.


Buds are naturally sticky to the touch, a Lit’le spongey(except rock hard lead cola), sweet yet sour aroma. Plenty of sativa expression, especially the tips of the buds. Love the colors.
Next up is the more traditional BW/WW pheno. 5’+ tall, fruity hard buds with a 12” Donkey dong lead cola. Smells delicious. She’s 80 days and has more to go.

87 days and this Widow is heading to the

5+ ft tall, hard buds that are sticky and intense sour fruity aroma.

12” lead cola. Looks nice, but I struggle to properly dry/cure those donkey doinks. I’ll break it down to a much more manageable size when that time comes.


Looking forward to a nice, cool dry.
This will leave 1 last Widow, the BushyMama with a giant pyramid shape lead cola. This has been a nice run.

Have you tried any yet? I just finished a plant that got stuck in reveg for a good while, have a clone of it that I'm gonna run again to get a fair take on it.

Anyways, even if the plant turned into a leafy beast with foxtails full of popcorn the flower was super dense, frosty and potent.

Stong energetic high with some euphoria, i cant wait to try the clone in proper conditions.

Was it same type of high for you?

Thanks for the props
She hung to dry and dried a little quicker than anticipated, and I just finished trimming up the last one shown above.
She trimmed up beautifully and smells very special. Humidity readings already in the low 60’s.
After trimming up 4 earlier ones it’s pretty easy to say that this one is going to fit the strain characteristics best.
The last one, #6 which still has another week or so, is the most unique, though not stereotypical of the strain from my research.

The top monster cola is the most ready, both visually and under the microscope. I’m also battling my usual nemesis of spider mites, winning of course, but I’ll make an executive decision of cutting off the top cola and letting the rest of the plant go further.

Over 8” long and 3 1/2” wide.
Cut the top off this morning and will let the headless widow continue

Whoops with last duplicate post.
Why are you ask? Because it’s for 20 and 30 days since I harvested the first black widow so perfect day to sample. Chosen bud has cured up nicely, good mixture of resonated fingers yet a nice cure. Smell is rather earthy. Sampled a nice big bong here and it’s very smooth, again, earthy tasting. Nice head high, nothing crazy.
She went 10 weeks flowering.
Body high now setting in Azam doing this report. Still very clear so I’m happy.

Top 3/4 has nice sized buds, not rock hard, but not fluffy either. Dense.

Headless will go an extra week compared to top cola and has retained the sweet aroma.

Remaining white hairs aren’t indicative of the cloudy to amber trichomes.
Top cola has been trimmed down to 10 nice walnut sized buds and 5” cola. Jarred earlier today and % is mid 60’s
I’ve sampled the first 3 BW harvested and IMO, they are meh (so spoiled).
Because I’ve already sampled #5 from 4/12, and that’s the “White Widow”. Do you know when you were trimming up a good dried harvest when one plant stands out special. It even gave me to bonus of giving me 10 selfie seeds, needed since I didn’t have clones. I’m looking forward to trying them to make sure that they truly are selfies and not some cross pollination from who knows what…
Let’s see how the extra long finisher finishes…

So true about the cure. Some need more time to develop. The NLA I ran earlier this year has cured into a much higher level with time.
