Hi all
Well to further illustrate my point, below is an icmag link too what they list as the beginning of the strains and hybrids forum. Now if you were to start from the February 2004 starting point listed below and continue through the years to the present (2009) one will notice an absence of any mention of the UK variety known as 'Cheese' for quite sometime. Strange a strain that is allegedly from 1988 gets so little mention publicly for so long. Especially a site that is ran by Gypsy Nirvana, who at the time of Icmag.coms founding was UK based and who still operates business within the country. A website ran by Brits, with many British posters, but no mentioning the famed 'UK Cheese' for so long? A bit odd dont you think? lol. Sure I could come up with excuses to explain it away too, as Im sure you all will no doubt. It would be interesting to see what kind of date we can put on the first documentation of this variety anywhere, not just the internet. Ill bet its not nearly 1988, lets call it a hunch.

The history of cannabis forums is interesting, below is one of the earliest cannabis discussion boards which is still available to read publicly online. There are some familiar faces at this site, but what is really interesting is how far back the discussions go and how noticeably absent variety's such as 'UK Cheese' and others are from the discussion. For a variety that has been making the rounds allegedly since 1988, the fact its not mentioned at all is notable. Feel free to browse for yourself at a forum that is 11 years old, you wont find any mention of 'UK Cheese' for quite sometime into the future. Notice we're picking up at 1998 here folks, a full 10 years after it was allegedly discovered and passed around by the Exodus collective.

And in addition to the fact 'UK Cheese' is not mentioned on any public forums for many years, we have an actual post from somebody connected too the real 'Exodus' crew.

So 1999, and no recollection of 'UK Cheese' from the Exodus collective from those who were actually a part of that scene?
