Two Nevs and One ASH

Lovely Cola. Makes me never want to top a plant.

-mp

Thanks for the nice comment mate.
I always try to leave the top cola intact and prefer to bend and shape to fit the space. The Nevs and the ASH have both surprised me with the size of the main cola - they are incredible.
I once saw a picture posted by JessE of someone's Mango Haze garden and those plants inspired me to give the hazes a real shot. The Nevs has real potential for high yield AND excellent hazey quality.
Short-season outdoor next if I can re-veg quickly enough.
Keep it green,
TF.

very nice pics FLEA
I have a pack in the vault
pics like these make me want to pop em
great job and thnx 4 sharing

The ASH. The bottle is 750ml.
Initial taste tests after a 10 day dry are very positive. The high is certainly not afghan in nature, instead it is up, clear and extremely potent and long-lasting.
Can't wait for the Nevs!

Here is Nevs 1 before and after the cull. I thought I'd put her against the same bottle just to give an idea of perspective.
She smells of piney haze and will be a winner.

Huge thanks for this grow log!

outstanding job
put one of these pics in the BOTM contest
u got my vote
I like the way that NEVS SKUNK looks

Thank you for the kind words.
All 3 of the ladies are now down and drying well. I've treid the ASH and really rate that as a clear and uplifiting smoke - it is pretty potent and doesn't have as much Afghan influence in the high it produces.
The Nevs will be sampled soon I'm sure.
The ASH went just under 12 weeks, whilst both Nevs were taken at 14 weeks. The Nevs could have maybe gone one more week but they were ready at 14.
I will post pics of the finished product as soon as I am in a position to and a full smoke report will follow.
I have to say that both Nev phenos remind me of SSH but with slightly more of a haze influence if thats possible.
Happy New Year.
The Flea.

dang! 14 weeks huh...

hoping to find a nice 8-10 weeker in mine....

wonder how hard that will be?

cant wait to see the smoke report

Happy 2013 MNS,
Does anyone have a template of the smoke report sheet? Or have the link to it?
The 2 Nevs and the ASH have all been sampled and they are all different and all very special in their own way.
Once I have the official template I'll post pics of the herb after a 6 week cure and a full report.
Keep it green,
TF.

Nothing worse than an unfinished thread. So here goes with a couple of pictures of the cured product and a quick description of its buzz.

Nevs Sk 1 - Has a piney/minty smell with a hint of haze at behind it all. It has an old school taste of earth and perfume. The buzz is up, clear and happy. Its the kind of herb that just makes you feel great and puts a big smile on the face for hours on end. In higher doses it becomes psychedelic with a gentle taper back to earth. A fine smoke.

Nevs Sk 2 had the incredible mango smell when growing which sadly didn't transition that well to flavour when smoked. It tastes more of sweet celery. At low doses the buzz is cloudy and makes me feel irritable and wanting more. At higher doses it is racy and paranoia inducing with visuals and at times nausea. I feel I don't handle sativa strains with this level of potency well. When I smoke the right amount I can be flying, but like I said it is a fine line between that and a fearful ride.
A worthy pheno for the right person.

Last up the ASH.
This is my favourite smoke of the three. It smells mediciney and dank with a hint of spiciness. It is a delectable aroma which promises much. The taste is spicy and sweet and the buzz is initially up and clear. After this it levels out to a dreamy fog which leaves all those under its influence bumping into things and looking like a red eyed retard. The haze and the afghan influences are very apparent as it is flying whilst lying (down) tackle. I love this strain and will be running more very soon. I also plan to continue with the Nevs Sk and to then work through my pack of MNS NL5Hz.
Keep it green,
TF

I think I have this pheno. She is in early flower and smells like Papaya/Mango, very stretchy & vigorous plant. So the Mango smell goes away? OK as long as the high is off the charts, I'm good. But by "sweet celery" you don't mean hay do you? ;)
