Well yea no one should have to grow out 4 pkts to find a keeper plant i no,
There should be a keeper in every 10 - 15 seeds for everyones diff choices

I agree with you if i'am going to pay 100+ for a packet of seeds,i would like to find a keeper in there.
Having said that,i can grow out 200+ plants of the same plant before finding a keeper for our breeding program.
Reminds me of when we were in Java last year in among 1000's of plants and my partners saying just pick one and i replied "No it has to be the best one lol"

The changes in strains seems to have happened a lot after 1998 .
Dutch laws changed . People got busted . Parent plants confiscated . Some seed makers were robbed and mothers stolen.
Large numbers could no longer be selected from with impunity .So less diversity .

Shanti got the heck outa Dodge and moved up to Switzerland .
