heres an update on the nevs sk,today is 33 days from planting the seeds and were potted up about 5 days ago.
they are all doing fine and starting to show some nice leaf formation, even the wee runt is coming along:)
as you can see from the pics they have a slight pale green to them,i think i should have potted them up a few days earlier:eek:
forgot to say they are under a 250w halide 20/4.

hey folks, just a wee update, the ns are looking very nice indeed.
the plants are all looking very vigorous and are all uniform in growth(even the wee runt has caught up with the rest of them).
and just to add these plants are stinkin and i mean stinkin,my veg room has a very pungent skunky smell and its from the ns,when you rub the stems a bit your fingers have a musky/skunky strong smell.
i know the ns has 37.5% haze genes in it but i think this blend will retain alot of the indica aswell.i know its early days and they could turn out like tropical sats but its just an early observation.maybe some of the other ns growers have the same traits?or maybe shanti could shed some light.
anyway heres a couple of pics 37 days from seed.

great plants mate :) there a uniform bunch,i think the skunk that shanti used has really come across well
my two plants show a slite veriation one of them looks very skunky(indy in growth, big fat leaves)the other has thinner sat based leaves but at the same time it looks like hybrid

i think this seed line is very exciting:)brink on the fun

Hi All

well good to see the thread getting to the interesting stage...wish you alot of luck with the girls.

The NS will be a blend practical for those who want some NH genes in a plant, that can be competitive with time. The idea of the test is to see how different growers are able to do the plants in realistic grow spots. So will be watching and hoping you find some good things you like and of course watching the show. Take care and thanks for keeping the testers and growers in the know all the best Sb

hey shanti thanks for the good words,im glad your happy with things so far,its good to hear im doing them proud:)
anyway here we are at day 44 from seed and have 3 confirmed females and 5 dont know yet,all are growing really well and are very uniform to each other in all growth patterns(like a real f1 should be).
they had their 1st feed yesterday of 2ml fish mix and 3ml maxi crop per ltr of water and a wee spray of the same.
another thing i must say is the smells coming off these plants are getting more varied as they are growing, its still strong just more of a rainbow of different pongs:)
anyway heres some pics of the females

,i know i ditch the males shanti but just to give a wee bit of info on them,
they were very uniform and vigorous and both had the very pungent smell especially when you rub the stems, the same as the females.
heres the boys(felt bad ditching them)

Hey Jaffaman,
things are looking good, keep it up.
Just wondering about that MrMuscle bottle that's in your pic? Is that an old bottle that you washed out and use for spraying?
I'm all into recycling,, but that seems a bit risky if it is.

hey folks sorry for the delay on the updates, well been i bit busy and i,ve had to change my plans for the ns.
i will be going on my hols 2nd week of august so i wont be able to flower any of the plants so i,ve heavily topped all of them to keep them short and will be giving all my veg room stock to a good friend to look after till i get back.
so it looks like end of august before we see any flowering:(
shantie,my apologies for the mess up on my part but i assure you i will finish them off and update this diary in full.
sorry again folks peace jaffaman

hey folks, shanti sorry about the delay with the diary,
as it turns out i wont be going away on hols so can get the 6 fem into flower in the next 2weeks.
just to add i,ve had to sevearly top these plants to keep them from out growing the veg cab,all 6 fems have been cloned and numbered so have back ups of all plants, sorry again for the delay.
will post some pics in a week or so when the plants look a wee bit more respectable.

Hey Jaffaman,
Good to see you about! 6 girls is good going:)

I think your gonna need a bigger boat though!:D
The Nev's Skunk explode when put into flower and they ain't shy about a drink either.
I vegged mine in 3L pots till they were 7 weeks old and at the end they needed to be watered everyday.
When I put them into flower I repotted them into 25L pots and their going through 1 Litre of water everyday now, and it's only the 3rd week of flower.

Just my 2 cents, bigger pots will mean less work during the grow I'd say.

Looking forward to seeing these doing their thing,

Peace GG

hey gg thanks for the comments,i do hope they stretch a good bit as i grow sog and nip out the side branches to promote a nice long cola.
the plants were held back for a while in small pots and have only been in the 4ltr pots for 10 days veg so hopefully they will have the same requirments as the other strains growing along side them.
