Patience is a virtue. I never had a plant that is alternate branching and still hasn't shown sex. I think they both might be male but not sure. I think I see the tell tale little ball and crab claw but not sure. My eyes aren't what they used to be. I need an answer soon cause I could use the room in the box if available.

That's trippy Arpege. Can you get a shot of the nodes? I can't tell what's up either since my eyeballs aren't what they used to be either

The smaller pheno has shown a female flower! I don't know if this girl is just a runt or she is small because the Medman is towering over her. I have tried to keep her tops open to light .. Anyway, I am excited to have a female NH. The one above in the pics is pretty much a beast. I think it might be a male cause I see a couple of crab claws coming in but I can't be sure yet. I almost feel like there is a light leak by the door where this plant is but the box is pretty much sealed tight. At this point I just want to know so I can decide what to do with the plant. It is taking up much needed space that the Mango Haze behind it could use.

This plant is really freaking me out. Its been 3 weeks and I can't tell the sex. I can't see up close with my contacts in so I have been relying on taking macro shots. I still can't tell. WTF?
![]() I have one female .Well she was a runt until the stretch! lol. Now she is more like a beanpole. Maybe that isn't a bad thing considering my space issues. I hate to give up on the big plant but I should have seen flowers by now. I almost wish it would turn up male so I can justify cutting it down. |

Hey Arpege, nice pics mate.
In my opinion, and it's only mine, but the longer it takes to show sex is a good thing. From my own experience with the Nevs, the last to show were all females. I think one of mine was about seven/eight weeks after germination. Four weeks into flower. I wouldn't be concerned with the long flowering times, that's what this strain is all about. Patience and reward. I found a 19 weeker, which was also a big yielder, but most importantly it had that flavour and hit that can only come from the gods. A truelly unique experience. Life changing, which helped me deal with the most horrific event that any parent can suffer ![]() Not for the faint hearted, or the impatient, but more than worth it in the end. I'll be following along. Best of luck. Ish ![]() |

OK. The freaky plant that didn't show sex for three plus weeks just showed some clusters of male flowers. Cut him down. I have one NH left. She is a lanky one. I took some clones from her and am going to grow them in Hempy buckets. The mother is stuck in a corner of the box and being swallowed up by my Medman female. She is just starting to flower and is going to be about three weeks behind the Mango.
