This is a run of clones off my favorite shark shock mother i found in my seed pack.

These 6 plants are at day 35 of flowering in soil with dry organic amendments added and they are under two 600 watt hps bulbs.

I will post better pics in a couple days when i clean lights.

Damn she's beautiful I hope I find her I got about 40 beans left from the cleaning pack. So how does she smoke? Smell/taste/potency

thanks for the pics.

To me she smells like earthy/skunk? ya i think that sums the smell up real good lol and as soon as you start to grind it up its pure SKUNK FUNK.

The taste really surprised me with this one and trying to put it into words is killing me lol. On the inhale there is a slight berry taste not to strong at all with the rest being dominated by what i call a hash flavor. On the exhale pure hash taste and by this i mean that when i smoke the flower its like there is hash mixed in already (Very Very nice flavor)

The potency is nice its like the keeper nordle i had without the sleepy effect and i'm not hating i'm appreciating. When i tried her for the first time lets just say i woke up about 4 hours later.

And thanks for stopping by bluntmassa.

Yeah she looks pretty hashy tasting lol, probably makes some good hash too good job can't wait to see harvest with her.

The Nordle sounds a bit like NL5xAfghan that one gave me a few naps can't watch TV smoking that shit.

In my first test run with these in seed form my keeper didn't look like so much of a keeper in fact it was the smallest in size and was slow to take off in flowering.

It doesn't start to chunk up till around week 4-5 but as soon as it does all i can say is wow.

In the end she was rock solid and had more weight to her than the other 4 girls i had

My last run i lowered the temps a little in flowering and the hairs started yellow and half way up turned dark orange-red with it looking like its been dipped in sugar. It got the nickname (the flame) from this

Holy Shark shit!! They some frosty ass colas you gots going on there matey!
I've grown Greenhouse's Great White Shark a few years back under 2 x 600w HPS grown in a 2m x 1.5m x 1.8m mylar grow tent and let's just say it did not turn out even half as trichome laiden as the Mr Nice variety.
This was some years ago now, back when I wasn't even half as informed on seed companies, genetics, the MNS vs GHS debacle or even that much about growing either for that matter!!

I'll be keeping my eye on this thread for sure. Thanks for the invite Budporn.
Look after yourself mate! Peace.

Thanks Mark i hope you find something very special to help with your fathers pain.

Anyone who takes the personal time to help someone in need is good in my book.

You are welcome here anytime.

First off thanks to everyone who has stopped in and supported me.

Would it be to confusing to start following my outdoor grow in this thread? If so should i start it in a outdoor thread? Thanks again

Looking good, BP89!

I did my Shark Shock run all indoors, and the buds were really pretty. IIRC all my indoor seed plants yielded about 120 grams of bone-dry buds (Five plants 100-130g was the range) Yours look YUMMY!! That OD plant is kicking too!

I am keeping a catch-all thread in the outdoor section, but also started a strain-specific one for Silver Haze & Spice. My thoughts were that the Spice sub-forum doesn't have too many recent posts, so maybe I'd liven it up.

Most of the threads in the strain specific sub-forums are all indoor grows, and I think the community needs relevant information on these strains done in the sun too. I couldn't find anything to see if Spice would do well here in the "mid-south US" (tobacco country) so I'm doing my own research. Or as I like to say "Living the dream" :p

Have fun and Happy Growing!

I harvested the Sharks on day 55 and while it dries and cures ill follow my outdoor grow. I will show some dry pics in time and a couple different smoke tests on it as it cures.

Things i would like to note are that this is my first time in organic soil and so far im glad i broke away from dwc and tried something new.

The sharks at day 55

Hello everybody just so nobody gets confused my first review of her was in dwc and any other reports are from my resent organic soil run. When i grew this same plant in dwc i did not get the same smells. While still on the plant i got about the same aroma from her just stronger in my organic run. My gf says it smells like dirty socks lol

In the drying the smell changed this time for the better. Breaking a small sample bud up i smell strong citrus and fruity smells with what i figured was the skunk funk smell cause many of my nordle smells were the same.I do know what a skunk smells like and do think the smell is different but very pungent. When i walk into a room full of people and they all look at me and its in 4 bags i call it pungent lol.

With that out of the way i would like to say that this last grow saved me from almost giving up on growing. I started in dwc with my first pack of nordle being the first seed i have grown that wasn't just a seed i found. I was getting good yield, smell, and effect but i could't get what i wanted in the taste after burning about half a bowl it just had a sharp taste to it. I was set in thinking i just needed to try different things drying, curing, less nutes, but i just couldn't get it.

So i got shark shock thinking ill change it up see what happens. SAME THING. Don't get me wrong many people liked it i just have high standards i guess.

So i see a old friend who doesn't know crap about growing anything grow something that didn't have the taste problem i had. I had him walk me from beginning to the end of how he did his grow. He was making many mistakes and i just couldn't get my head around it. Here i am trying to perfect everything in my dwc for a couple yrs to fix my problems and was going crazy of waiting the couple months of a grow just to find out i didn't fix my problem.

So i came back here to the forums thinking ill give a soil run a chance before i give up. Put in my time looking up everything i could learn about soil growing and started my last grow.

I guess i just want to say is if your like me and started your growing using a certain growing method and never changed you might be missing out on something great. I always was headstrong that dwc was the best way while knowing i hadn't tried any other growing method and now i can say i fixed my problem cause i changed things up.

Happy growing everyone and remember change isn't always a bad thing.

The outdoor shark is doing great she is 6 ft now and i trimmed some of the lower branches and opened her up a bit:D. I forgot my camera so ill make a special trip to get some pics for you guys.

She smells like she is covered in bud but hasn't even started flowering  Before i got close to it a breeze came my way and i stopped like i hit a brick wall :D

Before i forget my dog was sick and ate the top of my outdoor plant when it was in veg and it just grew the three big branches that were in the pic of the trunk a few posts back and i thought what the hell i got this good looking plant ill veg her till summer and do my first real outdoor grow. A couple months later im carrying a plant with the soil and all through the woods she had to be like 150 pounds lol. The things we will do for this plant amazes me sometimes:).
