Hey HHHG, no the study did not show any results for coconut oil. I know of it to be a far superior vehicle for carrying cannabinoids and only ask cause I wish to use this method myself.

Thanks for the tip! I have made this canna/coconut oil many a times. I have always just default cooked it my slow cooker for 12 hours at 101c. Roughly at 1 cup coconut oil to 60g shake (up to 80g if leafy trim). I am now thinking 100c for 2 or 3 hours, and infusing 40g bud into 1cup coconut oil?

Amen brother, amen. I am going to be taking this in order to NOT take chemo!! I really have not had any MAJOR fears/concerns about consuming the RSO oil, either from naphtha or I.s.o. Only minor ones that I feel can be completely off set by choosing a safer extraction method.

Now, if there was enough supporting evidence to really make me believe that a naphtha based RSO/PTO oil would be far superior and the difference between health illness was in the "naphtha" I would be all over it and not look back. I just don't think that is the case. I also do not think I am alone on this one, actually it seems like the cannabis taking care of any residual solvent theory provide by MR.Simpson was what got this study started. I have nothing but love and respect for the man and commend him on his efforts! Not trying to stir anything up, just trying to consume the best healthiest medicine I can!

Another interesting thing is im sure I would just end up infusing my RSO into coconut oil to make sure I probably absorbe it anyway...

Very interesting study. Iv been searching the net for the best extract method for my CBD Nordle crop. I want to ingest it, either in capsule or just eat it. There are as many recipes as there are stoners out there.

From what i have found coconut or olive oil extraction seems to be a good option. But it seems to be very different opinions on how long it should cook, at what temperature and if the weed should be decarboxylated or not before. And those who say to decarboxylate can't agree at what temperature and for how long.


So, whats the opinions in this thread?

hey tiwistedmind, i hope to have these tackled to!! I am on my 3rd batch of oil now and im doing great. Everyday is getting better. I am now using a cane here and there and can stand for extended amounts of time. A long list of great improvements from this oil! Every day i wake to a better healthier me!! Its exciting.

Anyways, i have slightly tweeked my method each run. basically im going like 100c for 3 hours then letting it cool for another hour or so. I wash it through a 100micron filter before i let it cool. i was thinking to start a thread on it, but im not on here as much as i like. Maybe when im done and have figured it out. In the mean time feel free to PM me with any questions you have and i will try to keep an eye on this.

And anyone who can add some knowledge on this subject it would be greatly appreciated...
