Question How to exhaust into chimney

The oil furnace in basement vents into the chimney and I'm wondering if I can tap into that without causing furnace exhaust to escape and grow room exhaust to not blow into the furnace. It is a rental house so I can't make another hole in chimney. Any advice is appreciated

i have done this before and found that if i use a Y it will hinder the exhaust some. so,•As a general rule, don’t mix “natural draft” appliances and “fan assisted” appliances on the same flue. thats my take to be safe, HHHG

That could get dangerous really quick. If you aren't using the furnace no issues. If you are then you are gonna need a backdraft damper.
