Hey, what's up? Everything ok? It's not like you to be gone so long!

Hey Cat Everything's fine, just a little overrun with life! Been taking pictures though even though I've not taken time to post them so I've got 3 weeks worth of updates coming this week!

Both the Master Kaze have an intense mango-skin smell when I stroke the buds. Going to be a beautiful smoke in 4-5 weeks!

Mangos..... ummmm! (Drool)
- I have a friend who loves to can, make jams & jellies. Her biggest hit to date... hot pepper mango jelly. Toasted bagle, little cream cheese & a big dollop of that jelly, & you'd swear you've found heaven! The perfect munchie to follow those buds!

Yep I checked again today, one by one - they both have that really pungent and clear mango smell when you smell after stroking the pistils gently.

Ok so 3 weeks worth of updates, weeks 8,9 and 10 from seed and are now about 4 or 5 weeks ago since they began to show flowers (they've been on 13/11 since seed).

MKZ 1 is definitely stretchier, other than that the smell and structure seem quite similar to one another.

Default Week 7 of flowering

Master Kaze 2 is getting closer! Another 2 weeks maybe? 3-4 for #1? I notice number 2 still has the mango smell but also a cheesy "skunky", sharp smell overlaying that now.

Week 12 (7 in bloom):

Those are looking FROSTY! Your posts always make me hungry! Now I really want a cream cheese bagel with hot mango jelly!
- I like your LSTing. You've really got it working to your advantage. I tried 'mainlining' on my last indoor. Didnt like it. 50% broke in the crotch from bud weight & split the main trunk down to the soil. I've gone back to the basic pinch twice, four colas, bend & tie when necessary to keep canopy level. The 'ole k.i.s.s. strategy.

Thanks Cat These girls responded very well to the LST - more so than some strains definitely and required very little maintenance, all in all they've been a true pleasure to grow so far. Absolutely drooling over the smell so I can't wait to try the buds!

I can see why you’re drooling, wish I could smell them.

Yeah they're gorgeous smelling, mango is one of my favourite fruits as I'm sure it is for many. As I only popped 2 master kaze seeds and these are they, I'm wondering how representative that is of the cross.

But yeah based on my experience (and my decision was based on others saying how great it is), this one is definitely worth picking up.
