I haven't the pleasure of trying a good haze yet (that I know of)
I am in the process of changing that tho .. as we speak they are growing

I have serious seeds white russian (AK47xWW) that I have been vaping for a year now, tho before that it has been commercial weed (all sorts and types holding various claimed names top notch IMO) and our bush weed strains from over the years.. none worth mentioning tho all stable and reliable.

I cant wait to run some good haze through the vaporiser

Hey JKP interested in what temps you use , do you find much diff in the 200-240 temp ? I go from level 6 (170c ?)to level 8 (210c ?) at night.. I may try going higher for extra couch lock after I find that lil book with the temps in it...

It took me 5 years of thought to spend that kind of money on a vape (after trying those nasty dome type cheap ones) and with in 3 weeks a purchased another volcano just for back up
it is still sitting unused in my storage ...

Hi Coop, that thing looks beyond hi tech... Love the glass bowl, it looks better than a volcano. I trust amazon reviews and I rarely ever see anything with that high of a cumulative rating.

its pretty much a knockoff volcano but also comes with a whip attachment for a bong.
I know how you where saying you don't like the bags, but I feel that for me personally they help with tricking your brain into thinking your smoking. I enjoy smoking so enjoy a thicker vapor to huff too.

Well it seems folks in the know about this, are agreeing that the volcano is the best.

Cool. I only smoked a volcano like 3 or 4 times, several years ago. The weed we were smoking at the time was really nice green, but nothing to write home about. My friend moved away since then.


Now I am smoking an XO variety of haze out of my little vape, so I just can't really compare, but this little thing works great, but now I am thinking about getting a bigger setup.

when I was trying to get my ex's mom to smoke for her MS we first got her to use the volcano but it was too harsh for her, since she is not a smoker. She found the vapir? to be the best for her needs.

I had an iolite and didnt like it, and have heard the magic flight boxes are decent.

also should say there is also a company in town selling e-cigarette vaporizes but with i think hash oil carts, they look like a decent little unit, and i've seen some info on refilling your own carts.

RE Volcano's: I ordered a new chamber and valve and it is made from a different material compared to the old chamber/valve from 5yrs ago. Not happy with the new pieces either, they seem more brittle, thin, and there are marks left from the moulds whilst the old stuff seemed almost machined. Still the best vape I've used.

EDIT: To clarify, I am talking about the plastic components, I haven't needed to order any new metal parts.

Hi Picklez, I like the magic flight as well for a good portable vape. I also have had problems with that plastic bit on the volcano ... in fact I snapped the clip on 2 of them and had to buy replacement new easy clip sets.
I like the new type but they are a bit expensive to keep buying I like using oven bags from woolies in the old clips for better value

The Hemp Embassy had OEM bags for $10 a pack so I grabbed a few.. And always order a couple if I'm buying from an online canna store.

I should have also stated that I have the original solid valve, so I don't know how the easy valve quality compares.

Hi Picklez I have the solid valve type originally but I think I had the cheap new type ... I replaced it for easy valve and then ordered a new solid valve replacement from OS for cheap.

I have a spare volcano in storage for back up if need be .... I love the volcano with all my heart

I am now more used to the volcano than I was to the bong for 10 years (my old breathing apparatus)

It was like a breath of fresh air

Also, with respect to potency: The remnants from vaporization can later be used to make edibles or oils or even smoked as some cannabinoids still remain even after vaporization.

I would also speculate that for overall efficiency (getting the most cannabinoid all told) that vaporization is best.

So, dont throw that vaporized material in the trash - make some butter or cooking oil for cookies or brownies or something. another thing to remember is no one (to my knowledge) has ever been busted for carrying cookies.

Speaking of cookies, day before yesterday I rode my bike way up an old mineshaft under the influence of hash cookies. Haha, it's the fourth cookie you've gotta watch.

I wouldnt say smoking is stronger than vaping or vaping is stronger tha smoking . Smoking may feel a bit stronger because you can take more THC conncetrated hits but you can more or less ( depending on the vape system ) you can do that with a vape.

Vaporizers are quite efficient so you may feel that vaporizing is stronger because for the same amount you get more cannabinoids .

I can get ridiculously high with both vaporizing and smoking but generally speaking vaping does feel a bit cleaner more high quality high but I think this has to do mostly with the temps and the fact that I was smoking with tobacco. When I vape I like to start really low temp to get all the terpenoids and not burn them and then go my way up . I feel I am not missing something compared to smoking and if anything I prefer the taste of vapor compared to smoking and its also more efficient. Plus its more healthy .

Most folks I know do the same with the temperature settings and it really does give some nice tastes early in the session.

I need a way to use my Volcano with ice hash as I have gone from spliff to Volcano to pipe in the transition from bud to resin. Resin should be good I'm thinking in a vape.
