I have clones at different stages of flowering outdoor, sorry but I didn’t take note of dates, start take them outside to flower since mid July, clones are uncut, untop, untraining, with some spider mites on them ( I fight with mites the all year )

I like to harvest at 10 weeks of flowering with cloudy thricomes and few clear & ambar

Here are some more nl5 afg shots, still fattening

Very cool and thx for sharing the grow Teporingo. I have 2 pretty nl5/afg fem seedlings at 3 weeks into flowering and one of them is already giving off a nice aroma. I'll post them to the site somewhere in the near future.

Great to hear you're getting quality smoke though, post a smoking summary when you can, would love to hear your experience.

Mites have been very bad this year fogger bombs work well or you can get a sprayer with water to knock them off the plant it takes them pretty long to get back to the top of the plant our local grow store sells lady bugs which love to eat mites place them on the infected plant and they wont leave until they are gone and they wont hurt your plant at all my buddy had a real infestation nothing would work we put one container of lady bugs on the infected plants now he hasnt seen a mite in months. JUST A LITTLE INFO FOR YOU mites can be a big problem and they will get immune to treatments if you dont get it under control in a short period of time.

I am very surprised to hear that! I did an experiment of my own to prove to myself whether not ladybugs work and the results were they don't do jack!! ( against mites)

I had applied a few of the smaller containers that they sell at the hydro stores and the mites just kept getting worse. I added something like 30,000 lady bugs!! The spider mites just got worse. I noticed that the ladybugs never went to the spots of highest mite infestations. The lady bugs like having sex all the time. the highest bug populations were always on the plants with the least mites. And no not because they ate them or even scared them away. I would say it was the lady bugs that were scared.

Badrabbit, good luck with yours, they have a really strong afghan aroma and finish quickly, hope to see yours here soon
The smoke is really nice, good to be happy and calm with the family, you feel the strong numbing on the face, and more on the cheekbones
About flavors, sorry but is really hard describe to them, I’m not English spoken

Highroller, lammy,
I don’t care to much about mites, I apply every 3-4 days 2 ml of meen oil and 1 ml of allicin plus that is garlic oil, red hot chili and grapefruit seeds extract, mix with 1 lt of water and spray the plant as far as 2 week before harvest, don’t get rid of mites, but reduce population drastically and they can’t make spider webs

Teporingo,
I hope my 5/af's turn out as nice as yours.
Your mix for mites sounds great. I love neem oil. I used it to get rid of fleas on my dog when that prescription stuff and the shampoo wouldn't work.

Lammy

Lammy,

I saw very few feno variation on nl5 afg, they look almost the same, yours sure will look like mines, neem oil works pretty well, just need to be persistent applying 2-3 times per week

Here some nl5afg clon harvest pics

enjoy
