Going to journal my grow here but first, I have a question

So let's go chronicle:

Set up - Black Widow seeds, Mainline/Manifold grow method, 2 gallon Hempy buckets with 70/10/10/5, coco/perlite/growstones/worm castings. Head's modified Lucas formula for Coco using GH Flora series, 6ml Flora Micro, 9ml Flora Bloom, 3ml Cal/Mag and 1 tsp Epsom Salts per gallon.

12/27 - 5 seeds planted directly into the 2 gallon buckets. All germed. Started under T5's then moved to the cabinet under 400W MH

1/18 - mainline first cut and 5 clones taken for sexing and mother plants

2/1 - Sex determined on the clones for mother plants, two females out of the 5 seeds. These two mothers moved under T5 lights.

2/15 - Final cut of the mainline to 8 cola, 4 clones taken from each of the two mainline plants, clones planted in straight coco Hempy solo cups. Put under 24/0 in the side light of the T5's

Ok here is where it started getting weird! Have you seen this before?

3/11 - 7 Clones transplanted into 2 gallon Coco Hempy's, one crashed, a table collapse while watering the solo cups. Began veg under the SS400 LED, noticed at this point the clones were beginning to show sex. Why I don't know as they had been under 24/0 since they rooted.

3/18 - Flipped the SS 400 to Bloom and began flowering the 7 clones. It was at this point that I first noticed the deformation. My assumption at that time was the coco mix was causing the problem and I began heavy flushing, first with multi gallons of straight rain water, pH 8+ ppm 12. I then flushed multi times with pH'ed rain water with Cal/Mag & epsom salts added.

3/24 Still seeing the deformation, flushed yet again with pH'ed (5.9) and Cal/Mag'ed (4ml/gal) water.

Going to give them only treated water for the next few days then begin feeding again at a lower rate till I see some improvement.

I am seeing two pheno's, one is taller and the buds are thinner and more airy, the other is more compact and much denser buds. There is no way I could grow these in my cabinet without training to Mainline/Manifold method or possibly a SCROG. They are 33 and 36" tall even growing with this method, and with the buckets they are 42 and 45" my cabinet is just under 72 inches and with the light I have around 60 inches. It's tight.

I will have more on this grow when I journal soon.

Weight report,
BW1 - Strain/C1 - C4 Clone

Parent - BW1 - 74 days - 2.3 Zips

BW1/C1 - 77 days - 1.9 zips
BW1/C2 - 84 days - 2 zips
BW1/C3 - 94 days - 1.6 zips
BW1/C4 - 98 days - 1.1 zip
Larf, shake, popcorns but no leaf all 6 plants - 2.4 zips (I see some cannabutter in my
future.
BW5 -77 days - 2.2 zips
BW5 was/is a strange plant, I should have gone more days maybe weeks. Tall, thin buds, did I say tall. But I believe it has a better high and a great fragrance.

I have one BW5 clone in the cabinet now, I am not sure how long I am going to let it go. I had it in a closet under an SS400 LED with two other BW5 clones. They totally took over the grow space, and even after supercropping they were 5+ feet tall. The closet had a light leak so they were not producing in the way of flowering, so I composted two of them and put the other in the cabinet after the BW1 clones finished. It is massive, this one plant takes up the entire space in the cabinet, some of the side branching is 4+ feet long, should have supercropped them also. Putting on so/so buds. Pics when I take it from the cabinet for a flushing soon.

Smoke report:

There is some difference between BW1 and her four clones, even with the varying harvest dates. Now, I am saying this even thought I know I will see differences as the buds continue curing. I see some difference between BW1 that has had 3 month of cure compared to say BW1/C1 that has had 1 month of cure.
BW1, harvested at 74 days on 4/20/15 had to do it on that day and got 2.3 Zips grown with the manifold/mainline method, has a very mild inhale, with not much in the way of flavor, just not harsh at all. I love this method of cure. The high for this pheno comes on slow and easy. Very get up and go high with a couple of small bowls, now if you decide to sit here and smoke three and four small bowls in a few hours or so you will be taking a nap soon. Actually one bowl will give you a very pleasant buzz for at least 2.5 to 3 hours, I just sometime like to get stupid and do those extra bowls, goodnight!
As I said the Clones of BW1 are in varying stages of curing due to the staggered harvest dates (see above), so like BW1/C1 has lost it's green taste and has a very mellow draw, where BW1/C4 which was just harvested and has gone into the cure jars is still very green tasting. They all seem to have the same or close to the same buzz, let's see what curing does.

Ok now let's look at BW5.
This plant is the strangest one I have grown. She is very stretchy, has loads of leaf, lots of single leaf, very few 3 leaf and hardly any 5 and seven finger leaves. She is much slower in flower than BW1 and the buds are airy. I should have let her go much longer than I did, but I find it damn hard to wait that long on a plant, this one went 84 days and has been in cure for 2.5 months. I had some pH issues during that grow, grown in coco Hempy's, so the plant was not very pretty but I got 2.2 zips, also grown manifold method.
Ok, now for the smoke report. This pheno is just wonderful, she has such a mild sweet/fruity fragrance and the draw taste just the same. Her buzz is better than BW1 but not by much. She draws and breaks up well using my Sweetleaf Grinder.
I definitely prefer BW5 to BW1 but hey it's grown under my hand, I know how it has been grown and know that it is as pure a medicine as I can get, so it's all just fucking wonderful.
Something interesting is that on some of the sugar leaves the trichs don't stand up, they just seem to be coating the leaf as if it were spread on there, it looks so cool.
Well I probably should have written this prior to smoke some bowls of BW5 after breakfast. Sorry if I rambled.
