hey there,
i recently have won an auction with "early queen x afghan haze" and
i've been wondering about one little thingy here. the description reads:
i get that percentages are not an optimal way of describing parentages.
even less for phenotypical expression over genotypical genetic makeup
as we have noticed with hazeAC for example. a 50% haze makeup with
a more higher percentual expression of the favored phenotype due to
the selections that shantibaba did.
but this is not a question of percentages, it is a question about actual
parentage that was used in the early haze.
what is the afg. haze mated with?
"early skunk" or "early queen"?
it reads like "early skunk" was mated with "afghan haze" to create "early haze"
because 25% EP and 25% skunk in the final cross would be "early skunk", not
"early queen". i'm a bit confused and appologize for my momentary ignorance.
could please somebody (maybe even shanti) help me with understanding this?
i'm fairly new to the original genetics and i would like to be informed correctly.
maybe i am not the only one wondering and it could help others with the issue
to read the answer to this question on this "early haze"-forum.
many greetings
to everyone,
