Week 10 flo - Mid week

It looks like 2 plants are nearly done, 2 are "getting there", but the last 2 are a bit behind :(

And 2 AB are showing some purple leaves. Is it expected ? Is it the signs of another genetic influence ?

PS : 2 Jack Herer have joined the AB tent ... :D

Week 11 ! :D

After checking the ripeness level under a microscope, it has been decided that 3 of the AB would be flushed this week and harvested next week-end.

The remaining 3 will have another week of food, with the harvest on the 18th of April.

They look nice, really nice.

Nice trichome shots! what kind of microscope do you use for it?

Nice purpling !!
Awesome trichome shots !!

Overall, from its looks, all plants from MNS looks very damn good trichome productioners.

They look pretty bulky! I thought with the Mango haze x afghan haze, it would be a little lankier/more haze influence but this looks to be a good balance between indica/sativa... perhaps shanti selected for the afghan side. Theyre looking exceptional...

Thanks all for your nice words :)

It's my first Haze and tbh I'm very pleased with the outcome.

I dont know if it's expected but they dont smell that much, but it's very fresh and fruity.

In comparison, the NHS which are still in the veg phase are wayyyy smellier.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaarvest

Yes ladies and gentlemen : today we harvested 3 AB and next week-end, the last 3 remaining will be chopped.

Within 3 weeks, they will have dried, been weigthed and been prepared in pills.

So expect the first "tasting" reports in around 4 weeks.

Meanwhile, the last pictures for your viewing "pleasure" :D ( the 4 Jack Herer are now using the "tent space" of the AB )

My next growth ( starting when the JH are finished ) will be either NL5*Haze or SSH ... as I will do both, you have a preference to start with ?

For the Shark Shock in the rdwc, if I like the effect, it will be followed by a Black Widow.

Awesome job. Would love to try some of that out... Looks A+! Any recommendations for growing Angel's breath? Was she nutrient sensitive or would you do anything different if you were to grow her again?

Good question : from the start I knew the AB wouldn't eat much, so I adapted the dosage and I gave 1/4 th of the quantity ( yes, 1/4 th )

I used Advanced Nutrients Grow A/B with Sensyzim, and then Bloom A/B with Sensyzim and a pinch of bud candy. It's a rip off, but that's not the point of this thread ;)

At one point I suspected a deficiency but I simply added a bit of CalMag ( as my water here is very/too soft ) as I thought the plant might not synthesize/absorb enough out of the given dose.
And that was enough.

For the light, it was 13 hours of darkness in flo, and absolute obscurity.

The soil was made of this
https://www.baconline.co.uk/organic-products/other-products/lava-soil
it has no added nutrient with a high level of calcium

and at the bottom, we have put a 2 cm layer of
Special Mix | Gold Label
so that when the plants grew, it can reach that layer and act as a kind of nutrient buffer, in case we wouldn't give enough

For the rest, a lot of love :)
