Nev's Haze grow in a Tent !

hi everyone,

plants are about 4 or 5 weeks old. Leaves at the bottom are yellow with nitrogen deficiancy, i didnt get to them on time with nutes when they were seedlings

2 of the plants are pretty much identical, (#1 and #3) and are 6 and 7 inches tall





#2 was had very thin stem as a seedling and has grown 2.5in tall and 5.5 in across



#4 is had the thickest stem and is 9.5 in tall now

ive got 5 new seedlings as well. hopefully more will sprout over the next few days



im growing in coco and the plants are on 1ml/l of canna coco nutes under a 125w cfl. I'll probably flower these under a 400w MH lamp once the nodes start to alternate. Once theyre sexed, i'll pot up but i havnt got the space at the moment to put them in bigger containers

seedlings will get fed 1/4 strength nutes over next couple of days

Hey herb

using MH for flowering sats is not a new thing really , many growers swear by their MHalides when it comes to sativas , I like to use them for the last 3-4 weeks myself , but when possible I go with mixed spectrum (MH+HPS). The MH are supposed to help to get the best quality smoke and also keep the plants at optimum health.

On top of that you can get a bit shorter/bushier plants if you use them till the stretch period is over so a good choice for plants like the Neville'sHz.

and just thourght it was a case of more light more bud

Well actually with MH there will a reduced yield but the high will be more psychedelic and complex and the taste will improve as well.But to be honest I ve never done any direct side by side tests to see the differences , just used diff combinations of lights for different grows.I would love to try the Sunmaster CoolDeluxe MH in cojunction with the 'Warm Deluxe' HPS they do.I ve tried their Super HPS Deluxe so far and I have to say I liked it better than Sylvania Growlux lamps though bit more expensive.

the grow shops round my neck of the woods only stock the syls grolux or standard mh ill have to try and find the ones you said on tinternet

i might ask my mate for his spare mh ballast and bulb
