The numbers at the back of the yellow packs are not dates according to Shanti himself. He posted that over icmag.
He said they are numbers that show where and from whom they the seeds were packed , so if theres a prob with a batch he ll know where to look for any issues.
Hiya Wmduffy i think shanti used the packs untill new packs were made and put the stiker on the back to cover the date and seeds were made a few years ago but he would be the one to ask be a good idear to so you can get the date seeds were made and also so shanti can know in the case he did not put the sticker there also.
I germed my SSH that's been in the fridge for about a year. When I pulled the "mrnice.net" sticker off the back, the date shown was"241102". I was worried that I would have a low germ rate, but after soaking in "Nitrozime", I was surprised with an 88% germ rate !
