% of mango phenos in mango haze

Hey guys girls nuts squirrels was wondering if anyone knows if mango is the common theme among mango haze or not. I hear alot of people say their mango is spicy incense but not too many say the mango haze is mangoie, sorry made up word. Ive got a pack of these on the strength of franks fave weed thread, it's colossal like the biggest running endorsement for mango haze ever. I think hempy said his fave mango girl named queeny was very mango but other than that I don't hear too much so if youve got some experience with mangoie mango hazes Id like to hear about it. Don't discount that "spicy incense" covers a verrry vast terrain of aroma and taste profiles. And the fact that there are dozens of different Mango varieties both in nature and cultivated.

My girlfriend's mother is Jamaican and I have had mangos that range from a simple creamy/custard flavour to a wild, spicy boquet that includes curry leaves, rose, black pepper, muskmellon and honey.

I have often read the mango aroma in Mango Haze referred to as "green mango". Sounds like a sour/acid/floral kind of smell associated with unripe, exotic mangos rather than a thick, rich, simple "sweet" smell associated with a decently ripe convenience store mango.

I'm currently flowering two MH females, both smell fruity but one smells more like mangoes than mangoes do.

I saw basically two main phenos. one stretchy and mango flavored, and the short one was like pine and mango flavor mixed.
when burned you can smell spice and incense.
stretchy one is better smoke

Thanks for all the input guys all great stuff. I'm gonna try to slowly work my way through them so I don't miss anything. I felt like I rushed my widows and ended up maybe missing out on one or two really nice girls so I'll try to take these slow and steady. Farmergiles I like this description more mango than mango sounds killer. Dawn nice descriptions too and thanks for the tips. Keep it coming guys let's tango with mango.

The only way to do it is to veg them just before you sex you clone and number each one then flower the seed plants out harvest and smoke test each one and cull all that you dont like re run the selected ones again and re pick.

The mango haze IMO is one of the best lines available and has been since it was made available to the community.

You mite find plants with no smell even in flower show you will find mango smelling plants and even sk fruity smells but smoke quality is were you need to focus on and when you smoke the right plant i would bet she remains in your mum room longer than any other plant from any other line avaluble thats no bull shit.

The smells tend to change as flowering progresses, mine are just a little over a month into flowering..

Like hempy said you don't really know until you've harvested and cured.

But I'm definitely smelling Mangoes at this stage .

I had one Mango Haze that was very hard to grow, it was #5 on my list. hempy helped me save it but the smoke was no good. I found if you have one that doesn't like food to just give it water and it does great. Don't be surprised if the pheno you don't like ends up being the keeper. Again, as the plant matures when cloning and going for round 2 or 3 and as the bud cures in the jar over the months the smells and tastes and effect for that matter change and get better. So don't discount anything on the first run, that was another grievous mistake I made.

thanks Dawn, I'm a bit surprised ... I thought that extreme stretch was more a NH sort of thing and MH would have similar stretch to SSH, which I have grown. (SSH was stretchy, but less so than Kaze, or the NH reports I see)

I'm not doubting your report one bit; but I wonder if everyone had that same level of extreme stretch with MH? Do you recall how long was your MH veg?

I vegged mine for about 3 weeks at 20/4 then hit them with 12/12 before preflower had shown. A bit stretchy but no unmanageable.

I think there is a fair variation (I'm only flowering two MH girls atm) and also that they tend to be a little stretchier than SSH.

Nice plant farmergiles hope she turns out well for you. Hempy thanks for stopping and contributing I know your a mango haze specialist and I loved your grow logs on it when they were up, another reason I got mango haze. I'm not stuck on just finding a mango smelling girl just wondering if if the commen theme among them. My only plan is to find the best in the lot whatever her smell may be.
