Default On Breeding pink skunk's.

Been meaning to get a thread up on making pink type skunk's for a while now and here we are,'

My purpose for sharing these tips i already no from previous experiecnces make good pink type skunk plants is to simply see more of them around and amongst the seed markets anywhere,

What started my own personal intrest in pink skunks was D/j shorts Origional Bluemoonshine plant that grew pink pistols instead of the norml white/yellow colours,

Il never forget the seed merchant (W.wideseeds) emailing me asking how the seed grow went with the bluemoonshine, this was the year 1998 and this was my first indoor grow using a d/j short product, I manged to grow out just one female bluemoonshine plant i told them re: email, it grew pink pistols and blah blah i said, they emailed me back somewhat suprised' and asked i rewrite my email again,, so i did and that was the last i heard from this seed merchant, i think i was hoping for more free seeds,' in those days free seeds were regular good seed lines to,

A couple of years later i come accross a plant that i was told come to my region back then via seed form, probably dutch,? - it was a Afghan pink' variety, its pink hairs grew and changed colors through out most of its folowering time, this slowely dissapeared as people wanted to of course cross everything with what they think is the shit of all shit at the time eh,

Around 2006 i decided to try make my own Afghani pink f/1,a close mate i had back then had given me some good tips on what i should use in the way of breeding such a plant and suggested i try pure purple type afghans putting them over plain afghans or purple skunks over afghans was how my own project turned out, from using a lavender type skunk male over a light lime green Afghan/1 thus creating pink bright tops just before harvest time, it did well in seed form, aka (big bud)

So there are indeed a few ways of making our own pink skunks if thats ya thing of course, i simply love the colours and the high quality skunks that come with em, ive just come accross a new pink topped skunk off a new line of my own growing out now at 5-6wks bloom, her old super skunk heritiage has really shone through and added purple colours too''

Ive seen a few photo's of some pink varitys here latley, thinking some photo's be cool yea, okay il go first = just the one photo is all i can dig up right now"

anyone ever heard of afghan shadow king?
a friend told me it has pink hairs.
we have that ask x heath robinson's black rose(f2's i think)
we got a lot of color out of the black rose x purple wreck, but not like that pic above, that is awesome.

hopefully these br x ask will have some pink hairs and lots of purple too.
fingers crossed, it will be a couple months before i have pics.

Hallo and no ive never tried east islands brenda's skunk, skunk one plant isnt it?

Id not forgot this thread, honest' - just been a tad pre'occupied one could say,'

I think the plant id like to try is one of the SHIVA skunk lines sensi have or had?
I heard a while back the shiva shanti 1 or 2 had a pink plant or pheno amongst it that had the old honey and garlic flavours in it, yum yes indeed, the pink one i tried of this along time ago in another region where i live had all this, hard to find in clone form yet its still there, persistance i need for this one i think, ive read the ortega plant has honey type flavours or smell i dont really no yet, try it for myself i think..

Bambi,
When I do get more room and decide to give breeding a try, I will def. look into those varieties. For now, I'll have to make due with my little grow. The girls are very pretty though.
