ratio for males and females

what have other growers here been getting on thier ratios for male and female has anyone been getting a high male ratio or has it been the normal 50/50 just looking for some feedback to compare this is for all varietys but only interested in mr nice seeds

hi rimmeo,
so far it has been close to 50/50,but not in one type of seed,
in the overall seed count for the last 5 years.
SSH-18seed count-10females-5 males-3 no germination or died young
Mango Haze 15 seed count/discounted product/GypsySeedbay
4 males-2 females-9 no germination/died young
Mango Widow 18 seed count 10 males-4 females-4 no germ/died young
Vintage Hash Plant 20 seed count 2 females-0 males-18 no germ
g13skunk 20 seed count 10 males-10 females-100% germination
devil 18 seed count 0 germination
afghan haze several packs 90-100% germination on all of these
over 10 female clones kept to date!
I am sure I have grown others from Mr NICE but that is a good average to study.

we had a bit of a yarn about this on another thread ,
there was a bit of debate ,
though in my experience with larger numbers of plants ,
50/50 is the general rule ,,
too large a devation from this one often sees intersexed issues ..

ive seen variations , but usually it was in too smaller amounts to count
i thought u were one of the only guys that gets up to 80% females ??

Yes donald the 70% males had non fertile male flowers in the very top of the main cola in the last week but no viable pollen.A

I think that the average i,ve gotten is more females,but thats just an estemated average as i,ve cracked lots of beens.Some times theres more males .I had a huge fistfull of bagseeds that I got from mostly humboldt +mendo ,also from S.L.O & San Deigo.Lots of males & hermies.Im a little confused about that.

The way I understand theres no way to tell , its the luck of the draw .However in a stressfull season a plant might produce more males in order to preserve its genetics.Plants producing more males because of stress might be outdated info.
