Hello all,
This is my first post here, so thanks for any help I just had 2 queeries, Firstly i was wondering if anyone knows if crossing any of the CBD crew strains with each other will result in a high CBD offspring? Either through using the Sweet'n'Sour Widow or by inducing pollen from one of the feminized plants? And secondly, are the CBD crew seeds available from the Attitude genuine? I have read that they have knowingly sold 'phony' seeds before ![]() And that the seeds are mentioned as available only from the Seedsman. Thanks. (I should say hello in the Introduce Yourself section first, I know , I will do that. lol)

Forgive me for possibly being naive but can you cross feminized seeds together?

Not knowing the dominance of genetic loci for THC and CBD in these plants, the basic formula for a simple segregation of of traits is 1:2:1.
This means that if you cross them 25% will be high CBD and low THC, 25% will be low CBD and high THC and 50% will be a about 1:1 CBD:THC. The CBD crew may have had to work the parental generation for these seeds so that a more complicated formula is required to tease out the genetic make up of offspring derived from the high CBD strains. Unless we are given this info it is impossible to tell really. All you can do is make the cross, grow out the progeny and have them tested for cannabinoid content. Cheers, Sensi

Thanks Sensimilla,
I was hoping it was more simple. Would it be any different with a s1? Thanks again. |

Honestly, I think you're getting ahead of yourself - hell, most people haven't even gotten the CBD crew seeds yet, let alone grown them out, let alone picked a favorite pheno, etc.... You may find the plant you want without having to go any further. That's what I hope anyway - CBD Shark is on the way to me as we speak (and to answer your 2nd question, mine are coming from Attitude. Shanti and Seedsman both vouch that the seeds are the real deal)

Thanks suburban,
Yes i may be getting ahead of myself. ![]() I was just a bit excited about them, and was hoping making high CBD seeds was as simple as crossing 2 high CBD plants, just as crossing 2 autoflowering plants results in all autoflowering offspring. Is that correct? Thanks for the positive about the Attitude question aswell.

I feel the burning question on everyones lips is how did the crew make these varieties into CBD rich strains?
I see a lot of interest in this subject, and hope for a little explanation as to their make-up. I understand that z6 - z7 are the stepping stones to the final product, but tbh I don't like the idea of selfing, stressing with colloidal-silver to produce seeds, call me old-fashioned but I trust nature more than I do man. I am looking for the REMEDY to use to make Oil and would prefer to know the history of the strain I use, as-well as its final cannabinoid content. Yours faithfully SC
