Sour Diesal

Hello Mr Nice members,
Do any of you know the genectic make up of Sour Diesal ?
I was just gifted a few (femmed) thru a friend of a friend and they only know it as SD.
if you Know please enlighten me,por favor.

I thought Nevil said that the diesel is just a ssh pheno.

As far as sour diesel goes ... I always heard it was Chemdog (original #4) x Mass super skunk

i could be wrong ... pretty sure it's chemdog times something though

(it sucks trying to sift thru all these made up names trying to trace genectic lines)

chemdog is a bagseed from the 80s. 4 different phenos. 4 was the real keeper.

chemdog 91 x mass super skunk.

you cant get the real deal in seed form unless its from rez.

DGT might have an s1 out.

but its a clone only.

nycd can be found in seed form though!

chemdog is a legendary strain ... story goes, in early 90's someone bought a $500 ounce of some really awesome herb at a grateful dead concert. they loved the herb so much they arranged for 2 ounces to be shipped to them. One ounce came seedless, the other came with a few seeds. Long story short ... Chemdog is a particular pheno of this bag seed that was found. It is rumored to be the mom of both the sour diesel and the OG Kush

and that's that


long story short ... while diesel is no where near as good as most of the mns hybrids ... it still is an awesome smelling awesome tasting strain ... and i do mean awesome.

YOU WILL LOVE IT SCORPION ... pheno selection is required for ultimate potent plant but the smell and taste alone are worth the price of admission

lastly .. the name diesel is because it stinks like diesel fuel literally!

have you ever smoked a good sample?
I'm real interested in what the flavor and aroma are like,these are femmed ,what I was told.
the seed is small and appears to be a skunk hybrid from the seed appearance,slight tiger stripe that comes off when rubbed leaving a brown seed.

also, bigherb would be great in this thread as NYC has a ton of the best diesels around

I've had sour diesel and NYC diesel before. I thought the NYC was actually soursage but that could just be another type that goes around there too

I hear the sour diesel is the best of the 3, then the sour sage, than the NYC diesel.

again, big herb would really be able to break the diesel lines down (I would think)

tastes like diesel fuel (sour being a bit sour) and smells like diesel fuel ... exactly! I love the smell and taste! the high is a strong "I'm whacked" kinda high ... great stuff, not haze but still fire!

It's connoisseur type stuff.
