Mr. Nice Chemdog

Hey Everyone,

So I wonder if Shanti or Nev ever got a cut of the 91 chemdog or ever tried to use it in any breeding projects? Or I just would like to know if shanti knows where that diesel smell comes from and where to look for it. Or do any of you guys know if any of the MNS strains are know to have phenos that give a stinky diesel smell? Its all anyone talks about out west...

With all of the more modern lines such as Chemdog, sour diesel, og Kush etc. you're essentially looking at dogs being labeled cats. All of these varieties are just versions of already well established lines in the industry, in particular Skunk #1 and Northern Lights though there are others.

With their histories, lineages and everything else being a mystery you're dealing with what are essentially suspect genetics. Some could be herm prone, some could be unstable, a variety of different problems can surface when dealing with unknown genetics. So in that since one would to proceed with caution breeding wise due to the amount of unknowns, and generally speaking as a breeder Im not sure unknowns are the best thing unless you have lots of time on your hands?

I have found Diesel leaning phenotypes in the G13 x Sk#1 offered here at MNS. The taste was unmistakable, though more of a pleasant cannabis version of the odor, scent than the more disturbing real life thing.

Which is interesting to note when discussing Diesel type anything in marijuana...

Plus mns seeds already works with skunks and afghans so if the 91 chemdog is either id still love to see some crosses with it like mango haze x chemdog or cm x chemdog. I wonder if that amazing smell and taste is something shanti or nev have ever seeked out?
I mean pretty much nl and skunk, and haze were purchased in seed form by nev no? So really he didn't go find those genes himself and cross them to create these classic strains. He just used them to make amazing hybrids. I mean shit I wish it was a skunk you could then do medman (afghan x indian/ brizilian) x chemdog ( if it is a skunk) prob end up with something sick. I thought I heard someone refer to nev talking about chem tasting like ssh. Does anyone have a link to that? I only ask this because shanti said he has proven that he can make the strongest medician. Now he wants to focus on taste and flav. I mean they have great flavs now, but chemdog is like haze to us that taste is so different everyone seeks it!

Hey Jetlife,

I dont know what happened to your post I got and email on it, but when I come on the site it is not there. I hear you though the scene out in cali is so flooded that really if it aint an og cut people over look it. I love the og I have RP OG#18 right now that I am getting ready to run for the first time I would just think the MNS camp would have at some point looked at the Chem line. I mean if that added that I wouldnt ever buy another companies seeds! Think of the chem haze crosses how nuts the taste would be.
