as i go back thru this thread from the beginning, i see it doesnt run quite as smooth as id like, my fault at least on the first 6 or so pages. Youll have to wade and sift thru the first page, as it turned mostly into a flash mob 90´s trance room, not sure how exactly, but anyway, the next pages i had to delete about 50 or so posts i made on this thread and several others a year or 2 back after a security scare. either way, please enjoy the love reggae built

Saw burning spear at glastonbury some years ago, he really is amazing on the bongo drums, and the band just DROP into dub in such a snap, pure LIVE experience.

I am happy to see others overstand and listen to some roots dub...augustus pablo produced some jacob "killer" miller tunes (anyone else seen Rockers) congos, I saw Mikey Dread in PDX (i was a very intimate show the crowd was on the same level as the musicans and i could see the wisdom in his weathered eyes as he was less then one meter away.ome new stuff i been listen to are SOJA, Groundation....................

I once saw Jah Shaka at some Polytechnic or other in Holloway/London. His spliff was MASSIVE and he played all night (7pm-2?..3?...am) so fucking loud, when we first went in we had to walk straight back out man!

Fishermans Dub was always a winner for me...
