Selection difference under hps/mh

Hey Kiwi Grows you,ve got some wicked sounding names and a nice pedigree on the yoda too
"Te Puke Thunder, Mastayoda and Te Kakariki".

So the Corromandel gold is a sativa...sounds even better now

Well what I had was sativa, but it's a very NZ thing to name a strain gold. A sort of in joke. In fact I'm growing out a local 'gold' strain right now, I'll grab some pics of it in a week or so when I can. Usually terrible weed in comparison to good indoor, but that's the joke

Yeah I'm falling off my chair maybe it's time to call it a night. I used to have sleeping problems but yoda hits me for 6.

Hi Kiwi. I'm not too sure what's happening here. Are you gonna do a run using just mh (veg & flower) then the next run using just hps? Or are you gonna veg under mh then flower under hps?

I've noticed MH/CMH plants trics don't turn amber as fast as HPS or outdoor?
They can go weeks longer.

Any one else noticed this? Or was it coincidence?

Yes a run under the mh and a separate run under the hps

Funny you should say that. MH flowers are OK and tastes nice, but IME, mh veg up nice and hps flower better. But I'm still gonna lurk on this experiment with some popcorn by my side lol.

I've got some clones going and will start them under a 1kw hps soon. I couldn't wait that long

Clones are in the clone bin right now. The plants they were cloned off are in flower right now under the mh.



That's after 8 days under the mh.

I can take photos in about a week. I will list all the strains once I finish weeding out all the males (xmas travel)

Also note the gold strain proudly defending the other plants from the intake fan at the time. I'm begrudgingly growing it for a friend. I have had to change the intake/exhaust as it was setup as a veg area but I really wanted to flower them out under mh.

Edit - Oh and that was 8 days after transplant. And the light was raised simply for the photo...
