Default 2012 monsoon , how are you faring??

Hi my outdoor comrades ,
just wondering how the outdoor season is going for all the outdoor oz growers south of where i am ??
it seems the monsoon is sneaking further south the last few years , or at the very least the influence from it is stronger >>??

i imagine this is going to cause a few problem s for those that are more used to a sunny summer ...

Hi DM,what's up brother grower!?

Hope everything is good or atleast as good as it can be.Here in Thailand i have had my worse growseason EVER.Rain, moore rain and heavy flooding..storms and what moore.I have now only 5 plants left out of 20+,jepp the rest the rain/humidity/mold and storms/flooding took..But i guess that's life for an outdoorian grower..

How are the "Thais"doing?Any pics..i got one now flowering from the same seeds you have. One went full hermie on me and was culled. The two CriticalMass x Nl5Haze is doing okey outside..one is a Indica dom and the other moore Sativa dom..

Hope you have a better growseason then i had DM,wish and send you good karma all the way -2012..take care brother..Have a nice weekend.

Choose Positive
People,places,events just "are".
They have no meaning until YOU give them meaning.
You choose how to react to it and what it will mean to you.
Good,bad,beautiful,ugly,indiffrent.You choose.
Why choose negative when you can just as easily choose posistive?

hey blb ,
good to see u man ,,
geez ive seen the weather there the last 2 yrs ,,
just atrocious conditions , and no end to them ,
feel for you there as an "outdoorian" as you so neatly put it , hhehe
gonna prolly use that one man ..

the thais ,, going along nice , just transplanted into mounds ,
i popped them in an area where i can watch them , and that they can reach their full potential with any luck ..
they are enjoying our slightly forgiving monsoonal season ,
(mostly been just storms in the afternoon apart from this week)

Hi Don, we had over half a metre of rain last week, but it came after 3 weeks of dry, so it wasn't as damaging as the previous year when the soil was already wet from months of pre-xmas rain. You're right the monsoon seems to be extending further south in the southern hemisphere, which is fine as long as we get a fairly dry autumn. Equatorial sativas are used to wet conditions in their long vegetative cycle but tend to blossom once the big wet subsides. Prognostications are unpredictable so we just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope for the breast, but I know there'll be something at the end of the rainbow - even if its just a pound of mouldy caterpillar shit.

Speaking of which, the caterpillars that were so populous last year, have been replaced by grasshoppers this year. Anyway about time the universe smiled on you with a nice dry finish mate Plus we all want to see the influx of new Thai cultivars reach their full potential.

hi ozzies
all i can say is that here in europe we have a late cold snap since a week approximatively .after a moderated warm winter the cold is finally arrived.
it's something similar to last three years.
i think we will have the same weather than last years .
i hope we will not have some surprise and keep this regularity.

mani
ps sorry for your eyes . my english don't get better
