I wanted to choose this plant as a mom and was wondering if it was a good choice based on the following factors if significant at all:
I've been veg for at least 5-6 weeks and it isn't even a 1.5ft. I guess it is a short squatted plant and I didn't know if the size had any significance when choosing a mom. It seemed to have peaked in height. I have it in a 3gal bucket and will put it in a 5gal. |

It sure looks like a nice plant but you need to think about what's going to change when you put it into 12/12 and how she flowers.
Some plants look great in veg but when they start flowering they do loads of weird things. I have only ever decided on whether or not to keep a plant as a mother after I have harvested. Things to take into consideration are Yield, Resistence to disease, flowering time, flavour etc etc.. Some people are different I suppose.. Be Well, Doobz

That makes sense. I will wait till I flower a cutting then decide; running out of room in my veg space tho

that way you have more space in the veg room and have a couple of back-ups just in case. if you have room and dont mind fairly high plant numbers take two cuts off all of them just in case theres a hidden gem among 'em. |
