Put your moms in coco...ive had several year old plants in 5.5 inch pots that thrive all under a 2x2 t5...small coco pots can support a huge plant. I would agree that every so often you should take the best cutting and make a new mother out of it. I usuallly dont even keep mothers any more, just grow them for two months while the flowering plants finish then take the best top from each and start a new veg, while the "mother" plants goes into the flower room.

1st moms
When I first started, I had enough space to hold a few moms. They lasted a little over a year before I had to give up the space.
 Very soon I will have another 10'x10' room so I will be starting a mother/cutting space with Shanti and Nevil's strains!  Best regards! R'azos
